xx Going Krogering Can Help Hamilton Local Schools | 08 Jun 09
12:03:05 by 1976 Charles Hughes | Views: 184 | Comments: 3

If you go Krogering to buy your groceries...you can now help out Hamilton Local Schools by scanning your Kroger Card.

Here's how simple the process is...

  • Print the attachment and take it with you the next time you shop at a Columbus area Kroger.
  • Have the cashier scan the bar code at the bottom of the printed page when they scan your Kroger card.  It's that simple.
  • You only have to do this once to get your card linked to the Hamilton Local Schools account.

From that point on...Kroger will make quarterly donations (based on a percentage of the total team purchase to that point) to the Hamilton Local School District.
Kroger is doing this community investment program for one year to see what type of response they receive.

Please forward this to anyone you may know from our district, and get them to join the Hamilton Local Schools team.

xx HTHS Yearbooks--Please help | 07 Jan 09

Undoubtedly, many of you have seen how our new high school building remarkably resembles the architecture of the 1939 building that so many of us graduates cherish.  We are a proud bunch and we know that the building matters.  Yet, we also know that our memory of what happened between the outer walls is even more important to the school's legacy.

Recently we combined two collections of HTHS yearbooks, but found that we are missing many editions.  As we would like to have a comprehensive historical account of our district legacy, we wonder if any graduates could help us complete our yearbook collection.

We are interested in the following yearbooks:

   Editions prior to 1925
   1927-1944
   1946
   1948
   1949
   1953
   1955
   1958
   1960
   1962
   1963
   1964
   1965
   1972
   1980

If you are willing to part with any of the editions listed above, please contact the HLS Administrative Office at...

The selection committee of the Hamilton Township Athletic Hall of Fame is now accepting nominations.

You can nominate a candidate at any time, but your nomination must be submitted by May for that candidate to be considered for induction in that year's class.  The induction ceremony will be held prior to the second home football game of the season.

Criteria to be considered for nomination (from the bylaws)

A major athletic achievement, both in school and after graduation, along with school and community citizenship is a major factor to be evaluated when determining candidate's qualifications.

The minimum requirements are as follows:

  • Athletes must have at least two varsity letters from HTHS
  • Athletes must be out of school for seven years
  • Athletic Directors and Coaches with service to HTHS may be considered after being seven years removed from their positions.  Any Coach or Athletic Director may be c...
